Hello and welcome to the Green Springs Recreation Department.

The Green Springs Park is located at 120 S. Catherine St. It has two full size ball diamonds as well as one smaller T-ball field. Diamonds can be reserved for events or personal use at a cost of $18 per team with a $50/minimum per diamond per day. The diamonds are well maintained and a great place to hold baseball and softball tournaments. Lights may be used on the diamonds for an additional fee.  We also offer a full concession stand for rent at $35/day or the city can run it for your event.

The park also has two recreational tennis courts that were resurfaced in 2001. Courts are on a first come first serve basis.

Our park offers other activities as well, including a bocci ball court, horseshoe pits and two different locations of children's playground equipment.

There are three different shelters for public use. One is a large enclosed shelter that can be rented at a cost of $50/day. Two smaller shelters are open air shelters and can be rented at a cost of $35/day. Reservations can be made at any time by calling 419.639.2121. Payment is required prior to date of event.

The park is the location of two major summertime events each year. The July 4th Celebration (held on the 4th regardless of the day of the week) offers several outstanding activities such as bingo, kid's pedal pull, horseshoe and bocci ball tournaments, a dunk tank and a children's petting zoo. At dusk the Village ends the day's events with an outstanding fireworks display, unmatched by any community our size.
